If you are at the early stages you need to make sure you choose the right domain name.
If you are selling pink lampshades, you need to try to register pinklampshades.com or pink-lampshades.com
(or even better both) as well as the .co.uk versions of the domains.

However many top level domains are now taken, so you need to think about what people are actually searching for,
something like BuyPinkLampshades.com + .co.uk

If you can find an EMD (an Exact Match Domain) you will increase your chances of success and make it far easier for
your website to rank well in the search engines.

You can always have several domains pointing to the same website. So your company name "Blogs Electricals" can
be registered as blogselectrical.com + .co.uk for those who know your company and may look for it this way.
(And to protect your company domain from rivals) But find a domain name that is a phrase people are searching for
and register that as your main domain name.

Then just point any other domains to this main one, so that your website will still load if they use them.
